In Geilo you can enjoy an active summer with the whole family.

There are activities such as the Summer Park with downhill biking and high rope course, great biking and hiking tours such as the beautiful bike ride Rallarveien. Try glacier walking, white water rafting, horseback riding and excursions to the mountains and fjords.

In Geilo you can also experience the National Park at close range. Hallingskarvet National Park consists of a continuous mountain range with a distinctive deep valleys and canyons and is easily accessible for outdoor recreation throughout the year.

Geilo received the status as a National Park Village, retaining the old traditions and the resources that nature offers. This includes a solid range of local traditional food. In the middle you will also find Geilojordet which is a beautiful yard with old buildings from 1700 and 1800's.

The Ustedalsfjord is idyllic and conveniently located in the middle of Geilo. Here is the meeting place for golf enthusiasts can enjoy themselves at Vestlia golf course. The natural and cultural heritage on the path around the fjord is accessible for biking and hiking, with picnic areas, fishing spots and a nice beach.

On the path of Ustedalsfjorden you can pass Fekjo heritage park and Tuftebrua. Tuftebrua has been built in the same timber as the old listed bridge from 1884. Approx. 300 meters east of Tuftebrua is Fekjo, a Viking burial mounds from the 900-number.
