Would you like an early check-in or late check-out? Please contact us in advance and we will let you know if it is possible. An additional fee may apply.

Upon departure, we ask you to do these simple tasks:
Please remove the bed linen and place it, along with used towels, in the laundry bags. Leave the bags in the hallway.
Throw the trash in the container outside.
Put the dishwasher on.
Close all windows.
Lock the door.
Leave your key in the Sharebox locker outside the entrance. You can use the same link as when you checked in.

*Guests are still expected to clean up spills, wash dishes, tidy the accommodation, and remove rubbish and empty items before departure.

We offer free parking. There is parking for at least two cars outside each cabin/apartment.
You cannot park a camper or caravan by the cabin. Please contact reception for information on where you can park.

The cabin area at Solstadvegen has its own electric vehicle charging station with capacity for up to four cars at the same time.
You must bring your own cable for charging.
Use the app 'Cloudcharge' or go to ladeinorge.no . Create a profile and attach payment information.
Power: 13.8 kW
As long as the car is connected to the charging station, money will be deducted. Remember to disconnect the car from the charging station when you are finished charging.
Prices as of 02.01.2024:
The first 7 hours: 25 NOK per half hour started
After 7 hours of charging: 50 per half hour started
After 400 minutes you will receive a text informing you that the price will increase.

Age limit 25 years
Our minimum check-in age is 25. Younger guests can check in as part of a family. You must be able to show identification and a credit card upon check-in.
The minimum age requirement must be met in order to gain access to the accommodation. If this requirement is not met, no refund of the rental amount will be provided.

We are a quiet, family-friendly area and it should be quiet between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Disturbances or behaviour that disrupt other guests and require intervention from a security company will be charged to the guest.

Please respect that we do not allow smoking in any of our units.
Violations result in a fine of at least 6,000 NOK. -
There is free WiFi and TV with channels in all cabins and apartments.

In winter, a free ski bus operates in Geilo several times a day. It stops in the town centre and is a convenient way to get around.

Geilolia has contactless check-in with the Sharebox system. Before arrival, you will receive a text with a link to open the key box. The link to the key box will be activated at the agreed check-in time.

If you need help collecting the key, we are always available at reception or by phone.

Pets are allowed in some of our units. Please ask us by email or phone. There will be a cleaning fee of 500,- per pet.
Pets are not allowed on the sofa, blankets or beds in the cabin. Please bring your own blanket or bed for your pet.

Enquiries to the emergency room only apply to conditions that cannot wait until regular office hours the next day. The emergency room can be contacted by telephone on 116 117. Foreign guests may use the number +47 32 08 63 90.
Always call first, do not show up without an appointment.
In the event of a life-threatening injury or illness, call 113.

Fireworks are allowed, but you must be considerate and careful. In Hol municipality, fireworks are only allowed on New Year's Eve from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
All use of fireworks indoors is strictly prohibited!

Geilo's shops generally have long opening hours, with some exceptions around Christmas and other holidays. Opening hours vary from store to store, but there is at least one grocery store open every day. Vinmonopolet (the state-run alcohol shop) is closed on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, as well as other holidays.
